Seed Processing
Limestone Coast Seeds use Cimbria Delta Screening Machines which have been developed for high quality fine cleaning of pasture seeds and forage grains. We also use Petkus Length Separating Machines with Oliver Gravity Tables. These three machines are the main pieces of equipment used to meet certification standards.
Seed & Grain Drying
Limestone Coast Seeds purchased a Vertec Grain Dryer and with the help of Tronlec Engineering we are able to dry all types of seed including sorghum, phalaris, canola, ryecorn, wheat, sunflowers, corn and lucerne. Reducing the moisture content enables the product to be stored safely.
Colour Sorter
Our Satake Colour Sorter uses advanced technology to precisely separate based on colour, size, and shape. It enhances product quality by removing impurities and defects. The Satake Colour Sorter ensures efficient, high-quality sorting to meet the highest standards.
Storage
Our combined sites have 6,000 tonne of warehouse storage for processes seeds and 11,000 tonne of inward storage. We have 1000 spaces of double deep pallet racking and an undercover dispatching area. We store seed and grain for local clients as well as companies awaiting shipment for export or sales.
Domestic
Limestone Coast Seeds process and package many varieties of domestically sold seed for various major companies, and we also provide these services for our local growers who are looking to on sell.
Export
Being an export registered establishment, we are able to pack and inspect prescribed seed and grain. The site has capabilities of handling 20 or 40 foot containers and has its own authorised officer to inspect the seed before loading.
